SEEP Connect 2025
Nearly 200 SEEP students and alumni came together on October 11, 2025, at WU Wien for the largest SEEP gathering in the program’s history. Organized by the newly founded SEEP Master Club, SEEP Connect 2025 marked a first milestone in strengthening the growing SEEP community.

When the Co-Organizers Lucie Cherpin and Stefan Salcher first envisioned SEEP Connect earlier this year, they hoped to bring students and alumni together for an evening of exchange, inspiration, and connection. The result exceeded all expectations: almost 200 SEEPers spanning more than a decade of cohorts filled Festsaal 2 for an unforgettable evening of stories, networking, and celebration.

The evening opened with a warm welcome and a round of inspiring alumni stories. Sebastian Linder and Stella Eckl shared personal insights into their professional journeys after SEEP, sparking engaging conversations about life after graduation and the many paths SEEP alumni have taken.
Following the talks, participants enjoyed lively discussions over food and drinks, reconnecting with old friends and forming new ties across cohorts. The atmosphere was relaxed, curious, and full of energy. A clear reflection of what makes SEEP unique: an open, supportive, and globally minded community.
SEEP Connect 2025 also served as the first official project of the SEEP Master Club, a new student-led initiative designed to connect SEEP students and alumni through ongoing activities and mentorship opportunities. The Club aims to ensure that this event is only the beginning of a lasting tradition of exchange and collaboration.
“When we started planning SEEP Connect, we could not have imagined such an incredible turnout,” said Lucie. “It was amazing to see how many SEEPers past and present came together to share experiences, advice, and laughter. We hope this marks the start of a wonderful tradition.”
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who joined, to our speakers for their inspiring contributions, and to all who supported the organization of this event — including the WU Institute for Ecological Economics and the ÖH Stv. VW-SozÖk-SEEP.
The SEEP Master Club is already looking ahead to future editions of SEEP Connect and other initiatives to strengthen the SEEP network year-round.
Here’s to more connections, collaborations, and shared memories in the SEEP community!
